I am so fortunate to witnessed the unspoiled and undisturbed beauty of Batanes, if not for the Ivatan’s (True Insulares) uniformed goal to preserve mother nature, this will not be achieved. Thanks to my soul buddy, for this once in a lifetime experience. (–,) ♥♥♥
Kapian Kamu pa nu Dios!
My travel buddy so sweet to buy me this for our adventure in Batanes..(–,)
- I’ve been hearing about “Blow your horn” for a couple of times from the other tourists. So this is it! I think there are almost a hundred “Blow your horn” signages on our way from Itbayan and Batan… there are actually 3 large islands in Batanes. The other one is Sabtang.. (more photos from there)
Entrance of Fundacion Pacita. The late Pacita Abad is a Filipino artist (a native of Batanes), known around the world for her gypsy art.
Her art is so colorful!
We loved the garden. its so heavenly!
Meter thick lime stone walls and cogon roof – typhoon resistant…
- This is where a famous Filipino film was shot starring Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez. =)
Another tourist spot in Sabtang.
With my soul buddy (travel , shopping, dining, reading buddy)!!!
Almost zero crime rate in Batanes. Here’s Honesty shop. All items exposed and you will just leave your payment in the counter.
It felt like we’re not in the Philippines!
They call this place Boulderville.
One of my favorite shots!
